MUNICH (dpa-AFX) - The building software specialist Nemetschek has achieved its annual targets at the upper end of the forecast ranges despite the meagre situation in the construction industry. Revenue increased by 6.2 percent to 851.6 million euros in 2024, as the company announced in Munich on Thursday on the basis of preliminary figures. Adjusted for currency effects, this would have been an increase of eight percent. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization remained almost stable at 257.7 million euros. Nemetschek is currently converting large parts of its offering to software subscriptions, which is initially having a negative impact on revenues and profits. Nemetschek's figures were slightly better than analysts had expected. The company did not provide any information on the net result.

CEO Yves Padrines saw the results as proof "that the Nemetschek Group is continuing on its successful growth path - despite the sometimes challenging market environment and economic climate". The Group intends to present its annual report on March 21 and will then also provide a detailed forecast for the new year. Nemetschek has already given an indication of this: Revenue is expected to increase in the double-digit percentage range, the operating margin should be over 30 percent (2023: 30.3)./men/stk
