MUNICH (dpa-AFX) - The building software specialist Nemetschek intends to pay its shareholders a higher dividend for the past year. The company announced in Munich on Friday that 0.48 euros per share will be distributed, compared to 0.45 euros in the previous year. The payout is thus at the average level expected by analysts. Nemetschek had already presented preliminary business figures for 2023 at the beginning of February.

The building software specialist was able to expand its business in 2023 despite the slump in the construction industry and the switch to subscription contracts. Turnover increased by 6.2 percent to 851.6 million euros in 2023. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization remained almost stable at 257.7 million euros. The corresponding margin fell from 32.0% to 30.3%./nas/mis
