NewPeak Metals Limited Announces Interim CEO Changes

The Board of NewPeak Metals Limited announced that Mr. Boyd White has been appointed as the interim CEO to replace David Mason who is retiring but staying on the Board as a Non-executive Director. Mr. White has worked closely with the Board since 2016. He has an accomplished record in the mining and energy sectors for over 30 years holding executive roles internationally with US multinationals Halliburton Company and KBR Inc, and domestically with Tarong Energy.

The interim appointment is expected to be for up to 6 months whilst the company sources a permanent CEO.

NewPeak Metals Limited is an Australia-based mineral resource company focused on discovering gold deposit. The Company has gold exploration assets in three of the mining jurisdictions globally: Finland, Argentina and New Zealand. It has a suite of gold projects in a region in Finland which hosts three gold mines, Orivesi, Jokisivu and Kaapelinkulma, with a processing facility at Vammala, all operated by Dragon Mining Limited. The Las Openas Gold Project is located in the province of San Juan, with a lease area of approximately 1,462 hectares at an elevation of 3,000 meters. The Cachi Gold Project is a Caldera hosted epithermal gold vein system spanning approximately 10 kilometers across and five kilometers in width with over 15 targets defined. It owns a 75% stake in the Cap Burn Gold Project, in Otago, New Zealand, through an earn-in joint venture with Mineral Rangahau Joint Venture. It also has a group of mineral and tungsten exploration assets in Sweden.
