NextEra Energy Partners, LP Appoints Terrell Kirk Crews, II as Principal Accounting Officer

Chris N. Froggatt, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer (principal accounting officer) of NextEra Energy Partners, LP's (NEP) general partner, NextEra Energy Partners GP Inc. (NEP GP), advised NEP GP's Board of Directors of his intention to retire in September 2016 as part of a planned succession process. Effective September 19, 2016, upon Mr. Froggatt's retirement from the foregoing position, NEP GP's Board of Directors appointed Terrell Kirk Crews, II to the position of Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of NEP GP. As Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of NEP GP, Mr. Crews will serve as NEP's principal accounting officer. Mr. Crews, age 38, served as NextEra Energy Inc.'s (NEE) Vice President, Finance since April 2016.
NextEra Energy Partners, LP is a growth-oriented limited partnership. The Company owns a controlling, non-economic general partner interest and a 48.6% limited partner interest in NEP OpCo. Through NEP OpCo, the Company owns, or has a partial ownership interest in, a portfolio of contracted renewable energy assets consisting of wind, solar and solar-plus-storage projects and a stand-alone battery storage project, as well as contracted natural gas pipeline assets (pipeline investment).
