Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2011. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 348,464 million against JPY 355,238 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 22,637 million against JPY 26,595 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 22,292 million against JPY 26,151 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 16,910 million or JPY 42.51 per share against JPY 15,096 million or JPY 37.76 per share a year ago.
The company revised earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2012. For the period, the company expects net sales of JPY 476,000 million, operating income of JPY 30,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 29,000 million, net income of JPY 19,500 million or JPY 49.13 per share.
