Notice of Establishment and Commencement of Operation of
Medical Device Sales Subsidiary in Morocco
We are pleased to announce that our consolidated subsidiary Nipro Medical Europe N.V. (Headquarters: Mechelen, Belgium; CEO: Serge Kemps) has established the local subsidiary Nipro Medical Morocco in the Kingdom of Morocco, located in the northwestern part of North Africa, to engage in sales of Nipro medical devices. The new sales subsidiary started operations on October 1, 2020.
In Morocco, sales of medical devices manufactured and marketed by the Nipro Group have been carried out through local agents. The newly established Nipro Medical Morocco, which serves as a major gateway not only to Morocco, but also the West African region, will promote the market introduction and sales expansion of Nipro medical devices at a more rapid pace, and provide more community-based, meticulous services and respond to the needs of the medical scene, thereby enhancing the presence of the "Nipro brand" in the region.
With the addition of the new sales subsidiary in Morocco, the Nipro Group now has 206 overseas bases in 58 countries. Going forward, we will continue to promote the expansion of overseas bases and endeavor to increase our sales and production capabilities.
