Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd., develops its long-term vision "Good Foods 2030" and starts its mid-term business plan "Good Foods Recipe1" for the period from 2022 to 2024. This mid-term plan is the first step to achieve its long-term vision of "Good Foods 2030". From now on, the company aims to be a leading company that delivers friendly foods both for people and the earth.
The company also change its trade name, newly defining its company mission as brand promise and introduce its new brand symbol and slogan.

The company mission contains these thoughts, such as
(1) to be a company that continues to pursue the possibilities of "food"
(2) inherit the corporate culture nurtured and forged by the sea
(3) the determination of moving forward to the sustainable future
The company determines its new brand symbol to represent the company mission with these thoughts. The company positively shows its direction for the future, and clearly conveys that it continuously pursues the possibilities of "food". The company will start using the new brand symbol and slogan accordingly.
Brand symbol and slogan
For more than 110 years, Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd., has expanded its domain from fishery to food and omega 3 refined fish oil businesses since its foundation in 1911. Under the new mission, the company will change its trade name from Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd., because "Suisan" means fishery in Japanese. People has affectionately called the company "Nissui" for a long period of time, so it decided to use the name as the new company's trade name, "Nissui Corporation"
The company will change its trade name to "Nissui Corporation" after an approval of partial amendment of the Articles of Incorporation at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on June 28,2021.
The expected date of trade name change is January 1, 2023.
The brand symbol on product packages will be changed to the new one sequentially.
● Nissui will strive to increase its corporate values by utilizing its strengths, such as R&D, production technology, quality assurance, and value-chain, concentrating its management resources into growth areas and creating values for sustainable society.

Nissui Corporation (formerly Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd.) is one of the Japanese largest food processing groups. Net sales break down as follows:
