Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:3166) concluded an agreement to acquire CHOUHOU KENSETSU Co.,LTD. from undisclosed sellers on July 1, 2020. As per terms, all 0.02 million shares will be acquired. Post completion, CHOUHOU KENSETSU Co.,LTD. will operate as a subsidiary of Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. The Board of Directors of Ochi Holdings Co., Ltd. resolved the deal on July 1, 2020. The deal is expected to close on July 16, 2020.
OCHI HOLDINGS CO., LTD. is primarily engaged in the building material business, life business and processing business. The Company has three business segments. The Building Material segment sells housing related materials purchased from domestic building materials manufacturers, agents and trading companies to domestic building materials and lumber dealers, house manufacturers, general contractors, construction companies and home centers. The Life segment is involved in the purchase and sale of household goods such as heating equipment and others to supermarkets, home centers and drug stores in Hokkaido, Tohoku and Kanto areas. The Processing segment is engaged in the purchase of building materials, as well as the processing, assembly and sale of precursor structures mainly for wooden houses.
