Ontsu Multimedia Co.,Ltd. concluded a merger contract to acquire remaining 90% stake in Video 80 Sopic Co., Ltd. from ONTSU Co.,Ltd. (TSE:7647) on February 20, 2015. Under the terms of the deal, 0.18 million units will be acquired. On completion, Video 80 was dissolved. The transaction was resolved by Board of Directors of ONTSU Co. on February 23, 2015.

Ontsu Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the retail of food and sundry goods. The Company operates through four business segments. The Food and Sundries Setailing segment is engaged in the operation of 100-yen stores such as FLET'S and 100-yen consulates, operation of franchise chains, and plan, import, and sale of general merchandise for 100-yen stores. The Karaoke segment is engaged in the sale and lease of karaoke equipment and related products. The Sports segment is engaged in the operation of the JOYFIT sports club (franchise), the FIT365 sports gym (franchise), and the LAVA hot yoga studio (franchise). The Internet Protocol (IP) segment is engaged in the lease of real estate and store facilities and operation of coin-operated parking lots.
