MONTREAL (AP) — MONTREAL (AP) — Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (OR) on Tuesday reported a loss of $49.3 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Montreal-based company said it had a loss of 26 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 12 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 11 cents per share.

The mining royalty and exploration company posted revenue of $47.9 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $35.8 million, or 19 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $183.2 million.
