Pacific Energy Limited announced audited consolidated and parent earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2018. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company's revenue was AUD 68,077,000 against AUD 57,176,000 a year ago. Results from operating activities were AUD 12,465,000 against AUD 25,140,000 a year ago. Profit for the year was AUD 6,781,000 against AUD 16,601,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were 1.80 cents against 4.48 cents a year ago.

For the year, on parent basis, loss for the period was AUD 3,521,000 against profit of AUD 234,000 a year ago.

For 2019, the company expects revenues to surpass the AUD 100 million level.

Company Profile

Pacific Energy Limited invests in power generation and related infrastructure. The Company operates two electricity generation businesses: Kalgoorlie Power Systems (KPS), which includes the generation of electricity by diesel, gas and dual fuelled generators located at a range of mine sites across Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southern Australia with a total contracted generation capacity of approximately 230 Mega Watts (MW), and Pacific Energy Victorian Hydro, which includes the generation of electricity from approximately two hydro power stations in Victoria with a combined capacity of over six MW. Its segments include KPS Power Generation and Other. It is engaged in the management, operation and development of electricity generation facilities. The Company's subsidiaries are Pacific Energy (Victorian Hydro) Pty Ltd, Pacific Energy (KPS) Pty Ltd, Waste Heat Recovery Systems Pty Ltd and KPS Power Africa (Pty) Ltd.
