PBG Spolka Akcyjna reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2013. For the nine months, the company's revenue was PLN 276.5 million compared with PLN 92.6 million a year ago. Operating profit was PLN 80.8 million compared with loss of PLN 457.1 million a year ago. This financial performance was driven by administrative expenses of just under PLN 22 million, almost 80% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year; other income of PLN 137.3 million, with its components being an amount of PLN 90 million from partial reversal of a provision recognized at the end of 2012 for potential claims under surety bonds and guarantees previously issued by the company, and under joint and several liability towards subcontractors assumed under consortium agreements, as well as PLN 25.6 million from reversal of impairment losses on receivables, including a PLN 21 million reversal of receivables under the Wierzchowice gas storage facility contract, and other expenses totaling PLN 29.3 million. Net loss was PLN 7.95 million compared with PLN 1,180.1 million a year ago.

For the quarter, the company reported revenue of PLN 61.5 million, up by PLN 0.2 million year on year. Operating loss was PLN 7.9 million and net loss was PLN 9.4 million.
