People's Leasing & Finance PLC is a Sri Lanka-based finance company. The principal business activities are providing finance leases, hire-purchase asset financing, term loans, Islamic finance, margin trading, share trading, issue of debt instruments, factoring, gold loans and mobilization of public deposits. The Company operates through five segments: Lease & Hire-purchase, Loans, Islamic, Insurance business, and Other business. Its Lease & Hire-purchase segment includes leasing and hire purchase products offered to the customers. Its Loans segment includes loan products offered to the customers. Its Islamic segment includes ijarah, murabah, musharakah and trading murabah products offered to the customers. Its Insurance business segment includes general insurance. Its Other business segment include all other business activities that group engaged other than above segments. Its subsidiaries include People’s Leasing Fleet Management Limited, People’s Insurance PLC, and others.
