PetMed Express, Inc. on July 3, 2021, the Board appointed Bruce S. Rosenbloom, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, as Interim Chief Executive Officer (principal executive officer), effective upon Mr. Menderes Akdag's departure until a permanent successor Chief Executive Officer is appointed. Mr. Rosenbloom, age 52, has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company since May 2001, and he will continue in those roles. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Rosenbloom served as the Manager of Finance and Financial Reporting of Cooker Restaurant Corporation, a publicly held restaurant, in West Palm Beach, Florida, from December 2000 until May 2001.
