PetroEnergy Resources Corporation is a Philippines-based energy company. The Company has diversified into renewable energy and power generation. The Company’s two main energy businesses are upstream oil exploration and development, and power generation from renewable energy resources, such as geothermal, solar and wind. The Company, through its renewable energy arm PetroGreen Energy Corporation, has investments in the three joint venture companies, PetroSolar Corporation, PetroWind Energy Inc. and Maibarara Geothermal Incorporated. The Company operates through three segments: oil production, geothermal energy, solar energy and Other activities. The oil production segment is engaged in oil and mineral exploration, development and production. The geothermal energy segment develops and operates geothermal steam fields and power plants. The solar energy segment carries out solar energy operations of the Company. Other activities segment pertains to research and investment activities.
