Kuala Lumpur, 14 September 2023 - PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad and Gamuda Land today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance convenience within newly, developed townships - Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens. This reflects PDB's commitment to innovation and the latter's dedication to creating vibrant, sustainable communities.

As part of this landmark collaboration, residents and visitors of the new townships will have access to an unparalleled suite of PETRONAS Dagangan offerings, designed to cater to their diverse needs. The centrepiece will be PETRONAS stations, products and services as well as Gentari's electric vehicle (EV) charging units, all of which can be seamlessly transacted via the Setel app.

While the development of retail stations is actively underway, PETRONAS Dagangan will also make its mobile refuelling service, ROVR, available for everyday drivers in Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens. This forward-looking move further underlines the company's commitment to making everyday life simpler and better, aligning with the evolving preferences of today's customers.

In addition, the comprehensive range of amenities at the township will include Kedai Mesra for a diverse array of quality products for on-the-go customers, and Café Mesra as a welcoming space for individuals to unwind and enjoy handcrafted coffee as well as an array of hot pastries, snacks and meals. The township will also boast a PETRONAS AutoExpert service centre, offering products and car maintenance services by specially trained mechanics utilising latest tools and technology.

Speaking at the event, PETRONAS Dagangan Chief Operating Officer Khalil Muri said, "We are excited to partner with Gamuda Land in this collaboration that embodies PETRONAS Dagangan's commitment to delivering greater convenience to our customers. Gamuda Land Chief Operating Officer Wong Siew Lee added, "Our partnership with PETRONAS Dagangan expands our range of convenience offerings for both Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens. When combined, we anticipate accommodating more than 270,000 residents upon completion of both townships and an expected influx of approximately 1.3 million visitors to our townships through tourism and placemaking initiatives. As such, we continuously seek innovative and dependable solutions for everyone who visits our townships. As our community continues to grow and more residents make Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens their home, this collaboration couldn't have come at a better time."

Gamuda Cove, a mindfully planned 1,530-acre township in Southern Klang Valley, blends residential and commercial developments with over 200 acres of lush parks and green spaces. The core of the township, 'Heart of Cove', serves as the epicentre of commerce with grade A offices, a shopping mall, a hotel, and a variety of leisure and commercial activities. It is where Selangor's latest tourism attraction, SplashMania Waterpark is located.

Meanwhile, in Northern Klang Valley, Gamuda Gardens and Gardens Park are two nature-inspired townships, seamlessly integrated into the natural undulating terrain and rolling hills. In addition to the existing waterfront retail village, Luge Gardens is an upcoming 50-acre commercial and leisure hub that will consist of commercial, retail and office spaces. It will also be the site for the highly anticipated New Zealand's renowned Skyline Luge Activity Park and an enhanced Big Bucket Splash Water Play both scheduled to open by the end of 2023.
