PICIC Insurance Limited is engaged in providing non-life insurance business. The Company’s segments include Fire and property, Marine, aviation and transport, Motor, Accident and health, and Miscellaneous. Fire and property insurance compensate its customers for damage suffered to their properties or for the value of property lost. The Marine Insurance segment covers the loss or damage of vessels, cargo, terminals and any transport or property by which cargo is transferred, acquired, or held between the points of origin and final destination. The Motor insurance segment provides protection against losses incurred as a result of theft, traffic accidents and against third party liability. The Accident and health insurance segment contract mainly compensate hospitalization and outpatient medical coverage to the insured. Miscellaneous insurance segment includes engineering, terrorism, personal accident, worker compensation, travel, products of financial institutions, and crop insurance.
