In reference to Current Reports Nos. 44/2019 of 9 September 2019 and 25/2020 of 24 August 2020, the Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A ('Company') hereby reports that today it received a letter from the Management Board of Centralny Terminal Multimodalny Sp. z o.o. ('CTM'), a special-purpose vehicle established to execute the project entitled 'Construction of Multimodal Terminal in Zduńska Wola-Karsznice' stating that, in connection with the fact that co-financing had been awarded to another beneficiary and the Marshal's Office of the Łódzkie Voivodship failed to consider CTM's protest against the negative substantive assessment of the above project, the Management Board of CTM decided not to pursue further appeal of contest results.

At the same time, in connection with the fact that the terminal in the location in question would be an important addition to the PKP CARGO Group's nodal infrastructure, the Company's Management Board decided to take steps to analyze other solutions that would make it possible for this investment project to be carried out by PKP CARGO TERMINALE Sp. z o.o. as a company dedicated to this operating area within the PKP CARGO Group.
