ProUroCare Medical Inc. Announces Resignation of Robert Rudelius from the Board of Directors

ProUroCare Medical Inc. (ProUroCare) is engaged in the business of developing products for the detection and characterization of prostate disease. The Company is focused on its product, prostate mechanical imaging device called the ProUroScan System. The ProUroScan is an imaging system that is designed to produce an elasticity image of the prostate as an adjunctive aid in visualizing and documenting abnormalities of the prostate that have been detected by a digital rectal examination (DRE). The ProUroScan uses an array of sensors mounted on a rectal probe, a central processing unit, and software and image construction algorithms to provide a real time color image of abnormalities in the prostate. In addition, it provides mechanical or elasticity imaging, which refers to a non-invasive analysis of tissue movement and displacement. The Company’s product also provides two-and three-dimensional prostate images.
