PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk : Medco Power Supports The Acceleration Of The Energy Transition Towards Net Zero Emissions

Jakarta, July 12^{th -} 14^th, 2023 - PT Medco Power Indonesia ("Medco Power") participated in the 11^th Indonesia EBTKE ConEx conference held by the Indonesia Renewables Energy Society. The conference aims to highlight clean and sustainable energy in Indonesia's energy mix and accelerate progress owards the national 2060 Net Zero Emission target.

During the conference Medco Power signed several joint study agreements. Two agreements with PT PLN Persero to cooperate to develop Solar PV facilities and establish a Data Center in Batam. An agreement with MOECO to jointly assess potential geothermal areas in Sumatra and finally an agreement with ACWA Power for the development of green hydrogen.

President Director of Medco Power, Eka Satria said, "Signing these joint study agreements supports our energy transition program to expand our renewable portfolio and achieve Net Zero Emissions for Scope 1, Scope 2 by 2050 and Scope 3 in 2060."
