Rath Aktiengesellschaft reported earnings results for the first quarter of 2013. For the period, the company suffered a EUR 0.5 million (USD 0.65 million) operating loss, down a profit of EUR 0.9 million, on revenues falling to EUR 18.1 million from EUR 19.8 million. 2012 EBIT dropped to EUR 2.2 million from EUR 4.0 million, while pre-tax profit slipped to EUR 0.9 million from EUR 3.0 million. 2012 revenues increased 6.1% to EUR 86.7 million.

The company also revised 2013 revenue guidance to the level of 2012. The outlook for 2013 is very uncertain.

After a decline in 2012 net profit to EUR 0.6 million from EUR 2.3 million, the company plans to skip the dividend.
