REC Silicon ASA provided an operational update for the recently restarted silane-based high-purity granular production facility in Moses Lake, Washington. The Company continues its ramp-up activities by improving, optimizing, and increasing the production capacity at the Moses Lake facility. As stated in prior communications, the Company's restart of production capacity is progressing in line with the expectation of achieving full capacity utilization by the end of 2024.

Currently, most of the key quality measures for the product have been met. Process clean-up, tuning and internal/external testing continue, and the focus remains on achieving all key parameters necessary for the Company to make the first commercial shipment of its high-purity granular polysilicon. The first shipment of product was previously anticipated to occur in early Second Quarter 2024, the Company now expects that the first shipment will occur during Second Quarter 2024.
