ReFuels N.V has opened a new refuelling station at Corby in Northamptonshire. This is the 12th public access Bio-CNG station operated by ReFuels in the UK under the CNG Fuels brand. HGVs are very hard to decarbonise due to demanding duty cycles, payload and low production volume.

They account for an estimated 4.2% of UK carbon emissions and are a target sector for the UK Government's goal of achieving net zero by 2050. Bio-CNG is considered the lowest carbon and most cost-effective alternative HGV fuel to diesel, reducing emissions whilst also providing 30-40% lifetime fuel cost savings. The station at Corby is owned by a joint venture (JV) with Foresight Group.

It comprises 12 fuel pump islands, allowing more than 60 trucks to be refuelled per hour with a total capacity of more than 25 million kilograms (kg) of Bio-CNG annually. It will serve local and passing fleets using the A43 road and introduce East Midlands fleets to Bio-CNG as a low-carbon transport fuel for HGVs.
