Dacia, the Renault group's entry-level brand, unveiled on Friday a new version of its small electric car Spring, with a price positioned below the 20,000 euro mark.

The model - which benefits from the new Dacia design inaugurated on the latest generation Duster - is equipped with the Media Nav Live system, offering a large central 10-inch touch screen that integrates connected navigation.

It also features new driving assistance tools such as automatic emergency braking with vehicle and pedestrian detection, overspeed warning and rear parking assistance.

With its 65 hp/48 kW engine, the vehicle offers dynamic acceleration, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 14 seconds, for energy consumption of less than 14.6 kWh/100 km.

Available from 18,900 euros, the new model is due to open for orders shortly,
with a view to first deliveries in September.

Since its launch in Europe in 2021, Spring has already sold more than 140,000 units, and last year became the 3rd best-selling electric vehicle for private customers on the continent.

With almost 30,000 units delivered in France, Spring is the best-selling electric vehicle for private customers on the French market.
