Resilux Nv Reports Earnings Results for the Half Year Ended June 30, 2020

Resilux NV specializes in the manufacture and marketing of preforms (for bottles manufacturing) and of bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The group's products are intended for containing water and carbonated beverages (53% of net sales), fruit juice (13%), detergents (10%), oil (10%), beer (7%), milk (6%) and other (1%). Net sales break down by family of products as follows: - pre-formed bottles (84.7%): 7,347 million units sold in 2020 broken down between Central and Eastern Europe (18%), Russia (14%), Spain and Portugal (12%), the United States and Canada (7%), France (6%), Greece and Cyprus (6%), Germany (5%), Italy (5%), Switzerland (5%), Benelux (5%), Scandinavia (3%), the United Kingdom (1%) and other (13%); - bottles (11.8%): 393 million units sold, broken down between Switzerland (38%), the United States (34%), Spain (12%), Germany (10%), Greece (4%) and other (2%); - raw materials (3.5%). At the end of 2020, the group had 11 production sites located in Belgium, Switzerland (2), the United States (2), Spain, Greece, Russia, Hungary, Serbia and Romania. Net sales break down geographically as follows: Switzerland (17.6%), Western Europe (23.7%), Russia (8.7%), Eastern Europe (16.4%), Spain (12.1%), Southern Europe (8.3%) and the United States (13.4%).
