General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy at an operational meeting noted the high-quality organization of measures to ensure reliable and stable operation of the power grid complex of 20 regions during the holidays and weekends from 4 to 6 November.

In all branches of the Companies, round-the-clock duty of employees and managers was organized. 1,425 crews consisting of 4,267 specialists and 1,919 motor and special vehicles were ready to quickly respond to emergency situations. For temporary power supply to consumers, if necessary, 2,307 backup power supply sources with a total capacity of 87.5 MW were prepared for use. Particular attention was paid to subjects with difficult weather conditions, border areas, and places of public events.

In order to ensure stable power supply, the "Technological Silence" mode was introduced at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, implying a complete ban on all planned work, except for elimination of technological violations or prevention of emergency situations.

"On weekends and holidays, the main task of the power engineers remains reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers. In all branches of the company, we have taken the necessary preparatory and organizational measures aimed at both preventing emergency situations and eliminating possible consequences to avoid interruptions in the power supply to the population of the regions," stressed Igor Makovskiy.
