By 11:00 am Moscow time on 18 October, power engineers of the Rosseti Centre company restored power supply, interrupted by a strong cyclone, in 480 settlements of the Nizhny Novgorod region, put into operation more than 4,000 transformer points and 230 power lines of various voltage classes. In total, 111 poles were damaged, over 390 broken wires were repaired, about 215 traverses were replaced, and more than 190 fallen trees were removed.

The consequences of local technological violations are eliminated by more than 800 specialists, including from other branches and divisions of the Rosseti Centre company, using 321 specialized vehicles.

Please, be reminded that on 17 October, a powerful cyclone passed through the Nizhny Novgorod region, accompanied by heavy snowfall, blizzards, and wind with gusts of up to 30 m/s. The power engineers continue to work at power facilities around the clock.

The branch has a special operating mode, an emergency Headquarters operates, and information exchange is carried out with the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities. Control over the operation of the energy facilities has been established. The power supply of socially significant facilities is under special control.
