At an operational meeting, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, Igor Makovskiy, announced that, according to the assessment of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Companies were awarded the highest score of readiness for the 2023/24 heating season.

The Certificates of readiness issued to Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region in accordance with the order of the Russian Ministry of Energy confirm that production programs to prepare for the heating season have been implemented in full. A total of 4,961 activities were completed. The following are ready to carry out emergency recovery work: 3,474 crews consisting of 15,047 people and 7,273 special vehicles, as well as 160 mobile crews equipped with 498 vehicles for rapid response. The supply of electricity in the event of a power supply failure for socially significant facilities will be provided by 2,307 backup power supply sources with a total capacity of 87.5 MW.

"At the beginning of the 2023-2024 heating season, the power engineers have repeatedly proven that they are ready to provide reliable power supply to consumers in any weather. The received Certificate once again confirms our competencies and the highest level of readiness to work under conditions of maximum loads at low outside temperatures," noted Igor Makovskiy.
