The board of directors of OAO Kubanenergo at a meeting decided to include 18 people on the list of candidates for the 11 spots on the new board, according to the grid company's materials. The company's shareholders will convene for an extraordinary meeting on August 24 to terminate the powers of the current members of the board of directors ahead of schedule and to elect a new one. Of the confirmed candidates, only three are on the current board - Director for Special Assignments at OJSC IDGC Holding Dmitry Romeyko, Deputy Executive Director for Economics and Finance at IDGC Holding Alexei Demidov and General Director of Kubanenergo Georgy Sultanov.

IDGC Holding and FGC UES nominated eight people to the new board of directors, including Chairman of FGC UES' Management Board Oleg Budargin, his First Deputy Andrei Murov and Deputy Valery Goncharov, General Director of FGC UES branch MES Yuga Fyodor Dyakov, Director for Finance at FGC UES and Finance Director at OJSC IDGC Holding Yegor Prokhorov, Deputy Executive Director of IDGC Holding Mikhail Chichinsky, Deputy Executive Director and Chief of Staff at IDGC Holding Yury Mangarov, and Division Head at IDGC Holding's Department for Prospective Development and Technological Connection Valentin Komarov. The list of candidates also includes representative of the Russian Federal Property Agency (Rosimushchestvo) Leonid Neganov, Deputy Director of the Energy Ministry Department Khasan Likhov, Head of Directorate at Rosimushchestvo Alexander Yugov, and Director of the Energy Ministry's Department for the Development of Electricity Vasily Nikonov. Others nominated to the new board are representatives of Rosneft - Deputy Directors for the company's Energy Department Alexander Gordiyenko and Alexander Yemelin, as well as Acting General Director of CJSC RN-Energoneft Pavel Pustovoy.
