Barclays has reaffirmed its 'Overweight' recommendation on Safran, with its price target significantly raised from €180 to €240, a target that would imply a market capitalization of at least €100 billion for the French aerospace equipment supplier.

Even after outperforming the market (+35% vs. +23% for the MSCI industrial index over six months), the broker explains that it is raising its target on Safran on the basis of continued strong relative growth in operating profit and free cash flow.
