(Alliance News) - Salvatore Ferragamo Spa on Tuesday announced that Anna Zanardi Cappon, the company's non-executive and independent board member drawn

from the minority list, has tendered her resignation effective as of the date of the upcoming shareholders' meeting to approve the financial statements for the 2022 fiscal year.

"This decision, according to the communication received, was taken following her appointment as chairman of another listed company in observance of the principles for the selection of candidates for corporate offices in listed companies to which Zanardi Cappon adhered in order to be included in the list presented by minority shareholders," the company note reads.

Salvatore Ferragamo closed Tuesday's session in the green by 0.2 percent at EUR18.00 per share.
