Purchase of property, plant and equipment was JPY 1,352 million compared to JPY 1,953 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was JPY 411 million compared to JPY 404 million a year ago. Net sales decreased due to the continuing decrease in repeat customers from the previous fiscal year and the weak performance of apparel and fashion accessories in the mail-order business. Operating income improved despite lower sales, because of the reduction in SG&A expenses and recovery in gross profit led by a lower cost to sales ratio.

For 2016, the company expects net sales of JPY 133,700 million, operating income of JPY 1,300 million, ordinary income of JPY 1,750 million and net income of JPY 750 million or JPY 14.40 per share.
