Shintokyo Group Co., Ltd. acquired Yokoyama Co., Ltd. from Keiyo Recycling Co., Ltd for ¥59 million.

Shintokyo Group Co Ltd is engaged in the consulting on comprehensive production and waste disposal of environmental solution business. The Company has four business segments. The Environmental Produce segment is involved in the recycling from the collection, transportation and intermediate treatment of waste, and the making of comprehensive proposals on waste reduction and recycling. The Construction & Demolition Work segment is involved in the demolition of buildings such as wooden buildings and condominiums. The Metal Materials segment purchases iron scrap and supplies them to blast furnace and electric furnace manufacturers through trading companies. Non-ferrous scrap generated in Japan is sold domestically or exported overseas through business partners. The New Energy segment plans, designs, constructs, sells, and generates electricity for renewable energy such as solar and biomass. The Company also conducts building materials wholesale and real estate leasing business.
