PGE and Orsted's offshore SPV Baltica 2 picked Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy to provide 107 turbines of combined capacity of 1,498 MW, PGE said in a market filing, citing contracts signed with Siemens. Specifically, the unit signed a turbine supply agreement concerning design, production, supply, installation, launch and servicing of 107 turbines of 14 MW each with realization of the contract planned between Q2'23 and Q4'27, PGE said. The sides also signed a service warranty agreement valid for 5 years from the launch of turbines as well as a spare parts and tools agreement, the filing shows.

PGE and Orsted's MFW Baltica project of 2.5 GW comprises Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 stages with completion slated for 2030, PGE reminded in the filing. PGE's strategic goal is to reach at least 6.5 GW in offshore capacities to 2040.
