Smartcool Systems Inc. is excited to announce that Tri-Caribbean Energy (TCE) has been deploying the Smartcool ECO3 product as its lead energy conservation technology on a number of high profile projects across Barbados. The Caribbean region is an ideal market for Smartcool's ECO3 product because of the significant demand for climate control and the region's dependence on power generated from imported fuel resulting in some of the electrical rates in the world; averaging approximately $0.39/kWh. Smartcool resources working from its distribution support hub South Florida have successfully cooperated with the TCE head office located in Christ Church, Barbados when serving the Barbadian market.

Many of the new projects have been in the hospitality market, including the installation of Smartcool ECO3 on the air conditioning systems cooling a casino and MangobayAll-Inclusive Resort on the west coast of Barbados. TCE has also deployed the Smartcool ECO3 at a variety of luxury residences and commercial villas including the Trade Winds Luxury Villa in Sandy Lane Estates, also on the west coast of Barbados. Continuing its focus on market verticals where Smartcool's technology has a long history of great results.

TCE recently completed an installation on the air conditioning systems cooling an industrial facility in St. Michael, Barbados - The Packaging Centre Ltd.
