Solomon Systech (International) Limited provided earnings guidance for the six months ended June 30, 2019. For the period, the company expects to record an increase in loss attributable to the equity holders of the Company by around 50% for the six months ended 30 June 2019, compared with a loss attributable to the equity holders of the Company of USD 6.3 million for the six months ended 30 June 2018. The expected increase in loss attributable to the equity holders of the Company for the six months ended 30 June 2019 was mainly attributable due to provision of slow moving inventories due to reduced market demand for some of the Group's products resulting in diminished gross profit margins; and decrease in net finance income because of a less favorable investment environment during the first six months of 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
