Sonatel SA and Teranga Capital have entered into an agreement to acquire 91.6% stake in Xoom Wireless.

Sonatel SA is Senegal's No. telecommunication operator. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - mobile telephone service (69.5%): 32.3 million subscribers at the end of 2019, broken down by country into Senegal (9.5 million), Mali (11.9 million), Guinea (7.7 million), Sierra Leone (2.5 million) and Bissau (0.7 million); - mobile payment and money transfer services (10.6%; Orange Money); - interconnection services (9.1%) : 6.9 million subscribers; - fixed telephone service (5.8%): 0.2 million subscribers; - Internet access services (1.7%): 229.9 million subscribers; - other (3.3%): data transmission and public telephone services, terminal sales, etc. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Senegal (41.7%), Mali (33.2%), Guinea Conakry (19.4%), Sierra Leone (3.5%) and Guinea Bissau (2.2%).
