The Company has been active in research and development, with over $100 million of R&D conducted. The Company supplies manufacturing equipment and technology needed to manufacture solar photovoltaic power systems. The Company through N2 Bio provides value-added surface treatments to manufacturers of orthopedic and other medical devices. The Company has equipment deployed in approximately 50 countries and has among its customers some of the world's leading solar manufacturers. The Company's Spi-Sun simulator is used by many testing agencies and laboratories including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Underwriters Laboratories Inc., TUV and the European Solar Test Installation.
