Spire Corporation Installs Turn Key PV Module Line in Partnership With an Eastern European Company

Spire Corporation announced it has installed Spire's turn-key module manufacturing line in Eastern Europe. The Spire module line, in this region, will be used to produce PV modules for the local regional market. It is expected the first production modules will be delivered by year end.

Further, Spire is providing on-going technical support for the training and the production ramp up of the line. The installed capacity is expected to support large utility-scale installations going forward in 2014 and beyond.

The Company's Spi-Sun simulator is used by many testing agencies and laboratories including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, Underwriters Laboratories Inc., TUV and the European Solar Test Installation.
