Spirent Federal Systems announced appointment of Robert Lollini and former director of the GPS Directorate at LAFB, Col. Bernard Gruber as CoB and Government Security Committee Chairman, respectively. Robert Lollini and Bernard Gruber have replaced Lawrence Garrett and George Emery. Mr. Garrett, who was a former Secretary of the Navy, and White House Counsel, served as the initial chairman of the board of Spirent Federal Systems and has retired after 17 years in that position. Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy (retired) George Emery has retired after 6 years on the Spirent Federal Systems Board of Directors. Mr. Gruber has held several positions in important commands focused on navigation in space, including serving as the chief of Space and Global Integrated Intelligence at The Pentagon from 2009-2010, Director, Global Positioning System (GPS) at the Los Angeles Air Force Base from 2010-2013, and he is currently the director of Precision Guidance and Advanced Programs, Armament Systems at Northrop Grumman. Robert Lollini is currently the chief executive officer and president of BioFire Defense LLC. Mr. Lollini contributes to the board his broad understanding of strategic financial and executive management. He has held various executive positions in recent years including serving as a member of the board of directors for Myrexis Inc. and chief financial officer and treasurer of BioFire Diagnostics, before taking his current position as CEO and president of BioFire Defense LLC.
