Stock Spirits Group PLC entered into an agreement to acquire BORCO-MARKEN-IMPORT MATTHIESEN GMBH & CO. KG on July 6, 2023. Borco has been a family-owned since its foundation in 1948.

Borco continues its normal operations and the teams and contact persons for customers and business partners also remain unchanged. The deal remains subject to approval from German and Austrian regulatory bodies. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek acted as legal advisor to Stock Spirits Group PLC.

Lazard & Co. GmbH acted as financial advisor to BORCO-MARKEN-IMPORT MATTHIESEN GMBH & CO. KG.

Stock Spirits Group PLC is a United Kingdom-based spirits company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is involved in the production and distribution of branded spirits in Central and Eastern Europe and Italy. It operates through five segments: Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Other Operational and Corporate. The Other Operational segment consists of the results of operations of the Slovakian, International and Baltic Distillery entities. The Company has a portfolio of approximately 70 brands and distribute spirits in approximately 50 countries worldwide through third-party arrangements. It offers spirits, including vodka, vodka-based flavoured liqueurs, rum, brandy, bitters and limoncello. Its brands include Zoladkowa de Luxe, Lubelska, Stock Prestige, Zoladkowa Gorzka, Bozkov, Amundsen, Keglevich, Limonce, Golden, Stock 84, Fernet Stock and Stock Original.
