WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) _ Support.com Inc. (SPRT) on Friday reported a second-quarter loss of $799,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Wilmington, Delaware-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents.
The technology services and software company posted revenue of $8.5 million in the period.
Support.com shares have more than tripled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $8.10, more than quadrupling in the last 12 months.
