Tekno S.A. Indústria e Comércio Reports Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended September 30, 2022

Tekno SA Industria e Comercio (Tekno) is a Brazil-based company engaged in the production and sale of paints for metal items. It offers different types of paints, such as polyester, polyurethane, vinyl, epoxy, polyamide, anti-fingerprint and Kynar, as well as film laminates, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester, polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) and reflective. It had two subsidiaries: Tekrom Transportes Representacoes e Montagens Ltda, which provides freight transportation services for the Company, and Profinish Industria e Comercio de Produtos Quimicos Ltda, which manufactures chemical products for metal and plastic surface treatment. Through its affiliates, Tekno is active in the manufacture and sale of laminated products, as well as in the production and sale of steel tiles. On July 22, 2013, it acquired a 41% stake in Alucoil so Brasil SA Industria e Comercio; as a result of the transaction it holds a 90% stake in Alucoil so Brasil SA Industria e Comercio.
