(Alliance News) - Telecom Italia Spa announced Thursday that it has renewed its agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery that will allow TimVision customers to watch, included in their subscription, all sports content from discovery+ and Eurosport along with the entire entertainment offer enriched by two new channels: Warner TV and CNN International.

"Thanks to this new agreement, TimVision will offer almost total coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with 14 channels and more than 2,000 hours live and on demand on Eurosport 1 and 2, on eight other Eurosport channels entirely dedicated to the event - including one in 4K available on the TimVision Box - plus four other Eurosport extras," the note reads.

"Thanks to this new agreement we further strengthen TimVision's positioning as the leading video streaming hub in the Italian market. TimVision customers will be able to watch, included in their subscription plan, the most prestigious national and international sporting events on Eurosport, as well as the most beloved shows from the very rich entertainment offer of Discovery channels," says Andrea Rossini, Chief Consumer, Small & Medium and Mobile Wholesale Market Officer at TIM.

"With this agreement we continue the TIM group's strategy to create the first Italian 'customer platform' of quality services and content for our customers, leveraging the strength of our brand and sales channels."

Telecom Italia's stock is down 0.1 percent at EUR0.22 per share.
