Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. announced that James (Jim) W. Butman, was elected to the board of directors at the company's annual meeting of shareholders effective May 24, 2018, by the holders of the series A common shares. Butman fills the directorship previously held by David A. Wittwer, former president and chief executive officer of TDS Telecom, whose director term expired on May 24, 2018. Butman currently serves as president and chief executive officer of TDS Telecom.
