Altran and Telnet Holding announced a plan to reinforce their partnership. According to the agreement, Telnet Holding would cede to the jointly held Altran Telnet Corporation (ATC) activities with high added value in three areas: defence, security and the automotive sector. All assets pertaining to these lines of business, including personnel and intellectual property, would also be transferred to the joint venture. By adding the peerless software expertise of Telnet Holding - which is particularly recognized by European leaders - to its scope, Altran would thus reinforce its design and real time embedded software product development capacities (especially in the field of critical embedded systems) as well as its nearshore facility in North Africa for its European clients such as Bosch or Safran. Altran and Telnet Holding have been equal partners in the joint venture AltranTelnet Corporation (ATC) since 2008, with each group holding a 50 % stake. The project is subject to customary closing conditions.
