Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc is an investment trust company. The Company invests principally in emerging markets companies with the aim of delivering capital growth to shareholders over the long term. Its investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation through investment in companies in emerging markets or companies which earn a significant amount of their revenues in emerging markets but are domiciled in, or listed on, stock exchanges in developed countries. The Company invests in sectors, which include information technology, financials, consumer discretionary, communication services, industrials, materials, health care, energy, consumer staples, utilities and real estate.
