The principal activity of the Company is the raising of funds, by way of the issue of ZDP shares, to provide financing for its parent. The Company operates through three segments: Investment properties, Development and trading properties, and Food beverage and events operations. The Investment properties segment comprises properties owned by the Company which is held for capital appreciation, rental income, or both. Development and trading properties include sites and developments under construction held for sale in the ordinary course of business. Its investment properties and development projects include Nottingham, The Island Quarter; Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, and Holyhead, Anglesey. It owns an approximately 36-acre Island Quarter site in Nottingham City Centre.
