Our modern vocabulary, accelerated by online culture, is growing and shifting faster than ever. Words like "hallucinate" are taking on new meaning with the advancement of A.I. Our digital love lives have changed the way we reveal and define relationships. Whether they are playful, entertaining or represent significant societal changes, these emerging words and phrases offer valuable insights into today's culture. To explore how these evolving terms reflect broader cultural shifts and the people who use them, The New York Times has created Words, a collection of products that examines modern language through the lens of The Times's journalism.

Words is a capsule collection featuring five words explored in The New York Times's journalism: "Bracketologist," "Soft Launching," "Wholesome," "Hyperpop" and "Unpack." Selected for their interesting origins and significant influence, the inaugural product lineup includes Bracketologist Sweatpants ($80) and Bracketologist Crewneck Sweatshirts ($70) designed for college basketball-watching enthusiasts; a pair of Soft Launching Baseball Caps ($56 for a set of two) created for under-the-radar outings; a Wholesome Apron ($45) for moments that nourish the soul; a HyperpopHoodie ($90) paying homage to the subgenre's signature garment; and an Unpack Journal ($30) for writing down what's on your mind.

Sold exclusively on The New York Times Store, the collection will launch of the Bracketologist Sweatsuit Set, available for purchase beginning March 8th - just in time for the tournament - followed by the release of all remaining items on April 29th.

To launch each Words product, The New York Times will turn to culturally minded creators who will further explore and define the words through a social video series that connects the Words back to their origins within the culture that popularized them.

Purchase the collection and explore the journalism that highlights the words featured here http://store.nytimes.com/words.
