Tohto Suisan Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the three months ended June 30, 2021. For the three months, the company reported net sales were JPY 18,153 million against JPY 22,356 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 162 million against JPY 48 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 157 million against JPY 181 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 39.93 against JPY 46.02 a year ago.
TOHTO SUISAN CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company engaged in the wholesale of seafood, the purchase and sale of fresh and processed marine products on the wholesale market, as well as the refrigerated warehousing, the manufacture and processing of marine products, real estate leasing and other businesses. The Company has three business segments. The Seafood Wholesale segment is involved in the wholesale of seafood. The Refrigerated Warehouse and Related segment is engaged in the refrigerated warehousing business, as well as the manufacture and processing of seafood. The Real Estate Leasing segment is engaged in the leasing of real estate properties and the establishment of wholesale markets.
